Being able to customise your canvas is an important part of ensuring you get the canvas that you are after. We offer a range of interactive customisation options for text and images including resizing, changing font colour, font style, alignment and font type. The options to customise an element appear on the left hand side of your canvas editor, as you can see in the below screenshot.
You can select an element to edit by clicking on it in the canvas area. This will highlight the element with a line as shown in the image below.
You can also select the different layers of the canvas from the element select box on the left hand side column. You can either scroll through the list or use the search box to filter through the different layers. Some canvas layers may not have any customisation options, so selecting all layers won't always be possible.
Select a layer will then bring up those layer options in the left hand column, as can be seen in the below screenshot.
Once you have selected an element to edit and you have the options available you can then begin customising it. The below screenshot shows the options you have to change the colour of an element using the colour palette which will pop up when you click on the colour box. This option will only appear if enabled in this particular canvas.
You are also able to edit the actual text of text elements, either by editing the text in the canvas or using the text edit box in the left hand column. This option will only appear if enabled in this particular canvas.
There are also options to change the font style of a text element via the font style menu. You can either scroll through the list of available fonts or search for a known font with the search box. This option will only appear if enabled in this particular canvas.
Once you have finished customising a canvas you are able to save the canvas, or if you are ready to order your customised canvas you can carry on to add it to the cart.
You can add your own custom text to a canvas by using the "Add you own text" button in the canvas editor toolbar as can be seen in the below screenshot. Simply click the button to add text.
The text will then appear in the middle of the canvas ready for you to edit. You will need to click on the newly added to text to be able to begin editing it.
Once you have clicked on the text you can then change the text content and other options using the toolbar or right within the canvas editor.
In order to resize text on your canvas you are able to click on the text and use the arrows in the corner of the selection box to resize, or click anyway on the box hold and drag to move the box around. You can also delete an added text box using the "x" in the corner of the selection box as well.
There are multiple options for adding your own images to a canvas. The first option is to simply add an image already on your computer by using the "Add you own image" button option in your header.
Clicking on the "Add your own image" button will give you a pop up of your computers files allowing you to browse to the image you want on your computer. Once you locate an image that you want and is a suitable size for the canvas simply click "Ok" and it will be uploaded and added to the canvas.
When an image is added to the canvas it will appear right in the middle, ready for you to resize and position as required. You will need to click on the image in order to select it, once selected you will notice a selection box around the image. There is an "x" in the top right corner which allows you to delete the image, arrows in the bottom right which allows you to resize the image and clicking and holding anywhere on the image will allow you to move it around the canvas.
Another option you have to add an image is from your Facebook account, Clicking on the Facebook icon button on the far left of the canvas editor will bring up an option to allow you to connect to your Facebook account, once connected you will then see the images from your account appear in the same place allowing you to select the ones you want to add.
